Traditional classroom settings aside, the curriculum is designed with diversity on the strength of information technology and interactive software, facilitating learners’ early exposure and adoption of technological advances from the Industry 4.0 era. Interspersed with indoor classroom hours are outdoor activities that bring about refreshing joy and fun, recapture the children's attention, and prolong their participation.

Small monthly projects vary in formats (product crafting, real objects exploration, doing experiments, etc.) to spark the students’ curiosity and excitement in absorbing English in favor of the golden period of language acquisition. After each major monthly lesson, students will participate in an 1-1 oral test with teachers to review the knowledge they have worked on in the past month, as well as allow the teachers to have a close-up observation of each student’s competency and appropriate adjustments in teaching, if any.

In addition, through the IGC Kiddy Portal, parents can stay informed with their children’s weekly English lessons with vivid posters, lessons’ key takeaways for review at home, and the results of the face-to-face assessments with native teachers.

IGC KIDDY EAL (English as an Additional Language) PROGRAM

Also, both indoor and outdoor lessons are built with diversity and liveliness qualities, and with strategic integration of English language learning and Math-Science education. Children are instructed and encouraged to produce, instead of clutters of words, long constructive answers which boost up their English speaking skills.

Preschool age is the golden period for young learners to perceive new languages and develop their linguistic ability in line with international standard English. The curriculum covers topic-related background knowledge from basic to higher levels through hands-on and experiential activities.
