Extensive Program

The Extensive Program emphasizes the development of social skills, physical fitness, and teamwork. Teachers and school are in the advisors’ roles, thereby students are free to engage in whatever activities they choose.

SCHOOL CLUBS

Club activities vary based on the abilities, interests, and aptitudes of the students, as well as the conditions of each school. Students can contribute to the creation of club programs to ensure that they are optimally aligned with their schedules and lessons.

- Students can join any club that matches their skills and interests.
- Club activities are flexible and work with students’ schedules.
- Clubs provide a good platform for students to learn leadership skills by establishing their own clubs.
- Club activities boast diversity.
- Popular clubs include MUN, TEDKid, environment, scientific research, etc.

DUKE OF EDINBURGH INTERNATIONAL AWARD SCHEME (DOFE)

The “Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Scheme” is an internationally-recognized development program available to young people aged 14 – 24. Through participation in this program, students have the opportunity to increase their knowledge, enhance their skills, engage in physical recreation, and discover their passions. This program is not a contest against other participants. It challenges students to exceed their limits and acknowledges their accomplishments.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Scheme is currently available at two bilingual IGC schools: IGC Tay Ninh Primary - Middle - High School since 2020, and Thai Binh Duong Primary - Middle - High School (IPS) since 2021.

DofE challenges students to exceed their limits and acknowledges their accomplishments.

 
 

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Social activities are an integral part of the IGC School curriculum and the student life. These activities are intended to foster social responsibility in all IGC students and staff.

- Students can plan their own activities and make meaningful contributions to society 

IGC students donate necessities for people affected by storms and flooding in the Central region.

After-school activities are available on demand.

- Students can participate in after-school activities to improve their skills, expand their interests and maintain their health through regular physical activities.

Students can choose from a variety of extracurricular programs designed to improve their health and further their gifts.
