On the morning of December 11th, Vietnam time, IGC Group officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Massey University ((Ranked in the Top 3 in New Zealand and 239 globally according to the QS Ranking 2024). The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Dinh Hoang Trieu - Chief Operation Officer - IGC Group, Mr. John Paul Grainger - Director of International Affairs, and representatives from IGC Group departments. Representing Massey University, Dr. Tere McGonagle-Daly - Deputy Vice-Chancellor Students and Global Engagement, Ms. Iya Diza, Regional Manager - Southeast Asia, Office of Global Engagement and other university representatives were present at the signing ceremony.
This collaboration aims to enhance educational opportunities for students from IGC Group to study at Massey University and promote international understanding and cooperation between the institutions. It provides students from IGC members access to scholarships and enrollment at Massey University. Mr. John Paul Grainger shared: "Collaborative activities with Massey University will bring even more opportunities for IGC students - the future global citizens. IGC believes in the effective collaboration between the two institutions in international competitions, exchange programs, study abroad opportunities, etc., for students."
IGC Group consistently expands collaborations with prestigious educational institutions from the UK, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, New Zealand, Canada, and beyond, aiming to provide opportunities for networking, cultural exchange, academic engagement, and advanced training for the school's faculty. Importantly, IGC students and educators can receive scholarships, participate in academic exchanges, or enroll in short courses abroad through international collaborations.
On September 2023, students from IGC School's comprehensive education system participated and achieved numerous awards in the "Exploring New Zealand with Massey University" competition, competing alongside students from BMS (Hanoi), Ambassador Education Group (AEG, Thailand), and CIA FIRST International School (Cambodia).
