The Development Program selectively follows the world’s leading academic programs, aiming to help students develop Knowledge - Mindset - Skills - Attitude required by the MKSA framework.

“LEADER IN ME” PROGRAM

The “Leader in Me” Program helps students master a broad range of skills and address challenges to academics, social interactions, and personal development. This program instructs students how to take the steering wheel of their lives and keep on track to succeed in the 21st century. The “Leader in Me” Program is provided by Franklin Covey (U.S) – a global company in education and human development, and revolves around “7 habits of highly effective people” including Be productive; Begin with the end in mind; Put first things first; Think win-win; Seek first to understand, then to be understood; Synergize; Sharpen the saw. At IGC, the “Leader in Me” Program seeks to foster students’ comprehensive development:

- Be responsible and take initiative.

Take control of actions, attitudes, and emotions.

- Know how to plan, define and achieve goals.

- Be organized, be able to create schedules and manage daily life.

- Listen with empathy.

- Work well with others while doing teamwork.

- Develop your body, expand your mind and nurture your heart.

IGC has integrated the “Leader in Me” Program in 10 of IGC’s 11 Primary-Middle-High schools.

 

The messages convey the spirit of "Everyone is a leader."

 

CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM (CAIE)

The Cambridge International Program provides international high school students with a curriculum for basic subjects and qualifications. Cambridge Assessment International Education, the world's largest provider of international education programs and qualifications for students aged 5 to 19, administers this program.

At IGC school, the CAIE program is 100% English-based and is led by native teachers. Subjects offered include English, Mathematics, and Science. At the end of the program, students will take Cambridge Checkpoint tests  (including IGCSE, AS, and A Level); and use these qualifications for university admission. These credentials are widely recognized by universities, institutions, and employers in over 160 countries.

CAIE Program is taught at IGC School members in Dong Nai, Ben Tre, and Tay Ninh.

 

INTERNATIONAL INFORMATION PROGRAM (IC3 & MOS)

This information program is developed and certified by Microsoft.

- A globally recognized certification in information technology.

- In-demand information technology skills for higher education and the future of work.

 

Students with strong technical skills in IT will have the best chance to succeed in the future.

 

OUT-OF-SCHOOL EXPERIENCE PROGRAM

IGC schools develop a wide range of experience programs based on students’ progress.

Students enjoy the outdoors and learn through hands-on experience.

Students have chances to turn knowledge into action.

School trips are properly planned to ensure students’ safety and satisfactory outcomes.
